An infinity bottle is a wonderful way to transform all those last drops of leftover bourbon, rye, scotch, and malt whiskey you have sitting around into something personal and meaningful. Here's how to start one!
I started doing this a year or so ago. Its been really fun to watch it evolve. I have not been precious with it, I just pour in what ever I have. I have been into lighter Japanese whiskeys, so lately its been a pretty light blend.
I had a question, I have not moved mine to a decanter because I read that decanters let aeration happen if used for long term storage. Have you found that at all? Or does yours have a rubber stopper to seal it better?
Awesome to hear about your own bottle! I personally think the not precious free spirited method is the way to go (and certainly more exciting).
This is an excellent question - I have thought about this myself when I first got it but forgotten about it. I haven’t had a sip of it in a while (so perhaps some research is in order) but your comment made me think that I should look to see what I can do to achieve a proper seal. Will investigate and report back!
I found this article through Put This On.

It’s fun to experiment! Let me know the results! Winter time seems to be when I add more to mine lol.
